Meet Calvin Wilbon
The Journey Continues…
Calvin Wilbon, owner of 1st Mind K9, started in a small town called Wrightsville, where he learned about natural dog behavior by adopting and following stray dogs around the neighborhood. The strays taught him various means of survival and how to stay comfortable while doing so, which ultimately led to his own theory, "Survival and Comfort." He teaches people how to perceive a dog’s perspective in order to communicate with them effectively. Throughout the years of pursuing his dreams, he has lived among and trained hundreds of dogs in all areas of the dog industry, completing some of the most difficult tasks. Calvin always felt a sense of purpose; his goal is to help billions of people achieve their desired outcomes with their dogs. The foundation he has established is based on proper communication through understanding the dog's perspective on how their world operates.
In his journey, Calvin has become a dog communicator, human educator, author, and inventor, all within the dog industry. His journey continues as he plans to reach the highest level of human potential while striving to fulfill his purpose of bettering dogs' lives.
*Calvin's Words*
Through the years of training and showcasing my gift of communicating with dogs, people have claimed that I am one of their favorite dog trainers in the world. The reality of witnessing the reactions from people is amazing; I've manifested moments like these, and my prayer is to teach others how to achieve any dream they have, whether it involves their dogs or anything else. There was a time in my life when all of these things were just dreams, wishes, hopes, and visions. I imagined being in magazines, training high-end clients' dogs, winning competitions, going viral on social media, speaking on podcasts, and so much more. I have accomplished all of these dreams and plan to harness that same power to dream even bigger and pursue better opportunities.
The value I see in life is taking advantage of the time we have together on earth to truly learn about our gifts and help one another fulfill areas in life where we didn't have the time to do so ourselves.
By the grace of God and the influence He has blessed me with among my peers, I promise to continue being obedient and to fulfill the purpose He set for me on this earth.
With the name I’m developing, I will do the work I was sent here to do.
